Greetings in Christ Jesus

Welcome to Lent.  All of March is Lent.  Ash Wednesday begins the observance of Lent.  Ashes on your forehead is a reminder that we will die.  Thus we need forgiveness from Jesus.  Lent prepares us for the great celebration of Easter.  There will be special Lenten Services each Wednesday at 1:30 or 6:30pm.  Please attend that you might grow closer to your Lord and Savior.

Lent provides us the opportunity to experience what Jesus did that we might receive Eternal Life with Him.  My prayer is that you will be deeply blessed with the love of Jesus.

In Christ’ Love,

Pastor Rich

 Hi Gang,

We have had a teasing of snow this winter.  I am looking forward to warmer weather and more daylight.  I can enjoy pepper jack better in daylight.  The Trustees are planning some renovations at the Senior Center.  Our Seniors can look forward to some helpful changes!  Thanks Trustees!

Last month I invited folks to share Worship bulletins when they visit a different church.  I received two from Waikoloa Lutheran Church in Waikoloa, HI.  Thanks.  I do not know from whom they came.  So as a reminder please put your name on the bulletin.  Thanks.

Now it’s time for some of Jane’s funnies.  Enjoy!

It was so hot the farmer had to feed the chickens cracked ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs.

Some people believe everything you tell them…if you whisper it.

What’s the best way to raise corned beef and cabbage? With a knife and a fork.

Doughnut: a fried halo

An antique is something so old nobody knows what to do with it. So they raise the price.
