Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Matthew 19:14

March kicked off with our Green Eggs and Ham breakfast for Dr. Seuss day. It was awesome! The eggs were yummy.

We also had the school auction on March 9th at Meriwether Golf Course. It was a fun evening, as always. Lots of parents, staff, church members and family and friends were gathered and showed their support for the school.

The Kindergarteners studied whales and made some neat 3 dimensional whales. They learned some great facts about them.

The first and second graders learned about ponds and built one in the classroom. They made ducks, beavers, frogs, turtles, and cattails. They also learned about the life cycle of a pond and drew a picture about it.

Third, fourth, and fifth graders interviewed each other and wrote biographies about their friends. They learned things about each other they didn’t know. They shared these with their parents at student led conferences.

In Art Lit this month the kindergarten through fifth grade learned about Claude Monet. They made some water lily pictures using crayons and water colors.
