Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Matthew 19:14

We came back from Christmas break refreshed and ready to face a new year.

Since we don’t get enough real snow, we had a snow ball fight with wadded up paper. It was fun.

The 3, 4, & 5th graders have started reading with their preschool “reading buddies”.

The Kindergarteners have started working on their reading using poems.

The 1 & 2 graders have been writing fairy tales. They’ve made masks and scenery to share them with their parents.

Kindergarten through fifth grade learned about Norman Rockwell in their Art Literature class this month. They made some really neat self- portraits.

We are getting ready for registration for next year. We had an open house January 24th.

National Lutheran School’s week is the last week in January so the children sang at the 10:45 service.

We added a couple new days to our Spirit week, this year – ski day, and western day. Spirit week is always such a fun time.
