St. Paul Newsletter

The Preschool Newsletter is available to help keep you up to date on what your preschooler is doing while at St. Paul

St. Paul Preschool Newsletters are a great way to keep up on what Mrs. Prehm’s classes are doing!

Each month during the school year, Mrs. Prehm will write a Preschool Newsletter to help keep parents and St. Paul Church members informed on all the activities going on at St. Paul. The pre-school has many activities and different items they focus on throughout the year. We hope that this page will help you to be better informed.

Declaring and Teaching – Jesus is Lord

“JOY”

Our Bible Verse theme for the 2016-2017 School year is from Galatians 5:22-23 “…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control”. This month’s virtue is JOY. Our bible verse comes from Psalm 95:1 “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord…”

This month the preschoolers will learn Christmas songs to perform at the Sherwood Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 3rd at 5:15 pm. What a great opportunity for our school and students to share the love of Jesus with our community! We will also perform at the annual Advent Service “Unwrapping of the Manger” on Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30 pm.

Our chapel offerings this month will be Christmas stockings that will be delivered to the church shut-ins. We ask that our students bring small toiletry items, candy, crossword puzzles, magazines, etc. We’ll stuff our stockings with the Women’s Bible Study ladies and Pastor Kiessling will distribute them during his monthly visits.

One of our letters this month is “J” for JESUS and JOY. These words bring joy to our hearts and minds. The excitement of the students in our preschool will grow each day as we anticipate and count down the days to Christmas, the day when we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

We pray that the excitement of that day shines throughout your Christmas season.

In His service, Kathy Prehm
