Greetings in Christ Jesus
September is still a summer month, but life changes in September. School starts, church activities speed up. Yes, Senior Saints meets weekly. We start our fall season Wednesday, September 11th. If you haven’t yet tried us, come and see what happens. Besides our weekly Wednesday meeting, we also have Pary’s Tech helps on the 2nd Friday of the month. If you like cards, join Karon’s Kards on the third Thursday of the month. Who knows what else the senior ministry might develop. Be prepared!
As the seasons change so does our life. We age and change comes. Our Senior Ministry is there to help make the changes. We exist for the benefit of others. Our mission is to be a blessing of God to one another. We need to grow closer to our Lord as our time on this earth grows shorter. We know that God is with us on this journey. May His love and peace be with you now and always.
In Christ’s love,
Pastor Rich Here’s Zeke…
Wow…and the summer is gone. I have moved back from the grove to the Senior Center. I am looking forward to the fall activities. Hope to see you there.
I received 2 bulletins from Leslie Atiyeh. One from across the ocean from the American Church in Paris. The other was from Bethlehem Lutheran in Hermiston, OR. Thanks Leslie.
I found some smiles from our friend Jane F. There were on Pastor Rich’s desk. Have a smile from Jane…
The child knelt at his bed to say his prayers. Mother called from the hallway, “I can’t hear you.”
“Sorry, mom,” said the little boy. “I wasn’t speaking to you.”
Telegram: Having a wonderful wish, Time you were here.
Some people believe everything you tell them…if you whisper it.
What’s the best ways to raise corned beef and cabbage? With a knife and fork.
An antique is something so old nobody knows what to do with it. So, they raise the price.
It was so hot the farmers had to feed the chickens cracked ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled egg.
Have a great September. Come see me at the Senior hangout. Remember P.J. (Pepper Jack).
